What’s the best way to pack my items?

It depends on what you’re packing. Ensure heavy items are packed down the bottom of boxes. For fragile items, wrapping them up in butchers paper and/or bubble wrap is an effective way of protecting them. Many people use newspaper to wrap fragile items but—if it’s a hot day—the ink may rub onto the item.

Should I feed the movers?

That’s completely up to you! If the move is scheduled at 8am and is only going to take a couple of hours, feeding them is not necessary. However, if the move is going to take all day, feeding them at lunch certainly won’t hurt. Just be sure to tell them in advance if you’re going to prepare a lunch so that they know not to pack one!
